You're allowed to bring them over to eat CD....

They just looked a bit jaded after a long trip... so I thought I'd freshen them up in the tank.... Until we eat them...

Very humanitarian of you Rupe

Hey, while we're here - what are the orange stringy things holding the tomatoes up ? Something you created, or a commercial product ?

A variation on a "tomato hook"..... most commercial growers use one form or another...

Keep an eye out for the little bugger crawling around on the floor in the coming days.. They have an incredible ability to escape..

We call them bobbins, used to try and sell them here but not exactly popular, think we have the original order we bought years ago..

I've been invited down to the "farm" tomorrow... for a dedication of a shrine to one of the original founders of the "farm"...

Mainly because both the State & National CEO's of St Vincent De Paul will be attending... and want a tour, and talk... on the project...

I'll try and remember to read the "tags" on the tomatoes...

I know the first bed is "striped zebra".... I think the second might be "Cooks Choice"... and the variety in question could be "Amish Paste"... but there's also some "Black Russians" and a "Commercial Mix"....

I'll try and remember and write them down....

Got to talk to about 50+ people today about this system and aquaponics in general....

Guests included the NSW President of St Vincent De Paul, the new National CEO, Shelly Hancock & Joanna Gash (federal MPs), the Bishop of Wollongong... and many other workers and clergy associated with the Jim Da Silva Farm... even Jim Da Silva himself...

Dignitaries & guests were onsite to commemorate a shrine to Richard Talbot... and his lifetime involvement with St Vinnies & the "farm"....
