I did not venture out too far but I do not know where they came from. I think the final count was 1082, yeeha. They started arriving at 9.45am. It was a fantastic day, a great atmosphere good to see Duckpond, Lungy, Peter and I forget . Well done to Joel, I felt sorry that I couldn't rescue you form the hoards, but I think you were loving it really and you're just so good at it, keep up the practice. There is more to come.
My guess is 5 system sales.

Sorry again I couldn't come and help out today Faye.... I might have been able to save a few voices, which I am sure are well and truly stuffed by now (going on the last event). Nothing a few beers couldn't fix though

I bet. It sounded like you had a fair bit of help though, so I don't feel so bad. But still I would have loved to have be there, especially with that turn out! Wow! Definitely count me in for the next one. I bet thats the last thing on your mind...

I tried to get the folks to go check it out... maybe convince them to chip in for my proposed system (seen as though I am unemployed next year)... But they got sidetracked and bought a new car instead... Lets just say I am not on speaking terms at the moment...

Sorry I couldn't come and help Faye & EB, I got tied up with my bathroom renovation.
Excellent promotional work for BYAP, I hope the estimates of systems which will be sold as a result of the open day, is a vast underestimate.

Regards,
Tony

Fantastic Faye
What a joy to be able to show off a wonderful garden and aquaponics system.

We had nice nice people here and they loved the aquaponics, isn't it just great to be able to share. I met a girl who since the last open garden said she was so inspired she is off to Tasmania to study aquaculture at university and will keep me updated. WOW hey!
My team worked really hard, Laura made cappucinos all day while Eddy cooked sausages, Daniel manned the BYAP prducts and information counter, friends manned the plant sale and the OGS volunteers managed the gate,Say no to GMO had an information stand and collected over 300 signatures for their petition. Joel provided answers and talked to people all day, I just floated around enjoying the day.
