nothing but troubles..... seems i have issues with downloading the complete database.. It's timing out before the download completes...

You could always try it out on the backyard farming forum first. Give it a test run on a smaller database.

Yep, put off for a little while till I can speak to the hosting people and get a complete download of the database..

Bit scary really, I been backing up the database in the past and downloading it, but now I discover that I've only ever been backing up part of it????? :?

It should all work ok when we get it together, it's just that we really need to get a complete backup first, just in case something goes wrong during the update.
