Yeah I was pretty happy with it.... :D

They didn't show much of the good growbeds, But I'm happy with how it turned out. I look at how much the beds have grown in the last couple of weeks. and realize how much and how quickly things change... :D

Yeah, I thought they would have shown more of these amazing grow beds, maybe you should get a quick follow up segment filmed and send it to them in a couple of months. (maybe when you have Josh over for a perch dinner) :D

Yeah VB, was a bit of a shame they focused more on the barrels than the big beds, but still, it was great.

Was strange actually...have spent lots of time looking at the vids that come with Joel's book for ages now, and I knew the segment was coming when I sat down to watch, but I still had that split-second 'hey! I know that place' reaction before my brain kicked in and went 'duh, gee, you don't say!'

Congratulations again Joel. :thumbleft:

It was fantastic Joel, good work.
I guess all we Aquaponic fanatics feel the segment should have been at least one hour long.
But I think it was great that they showed it at all really, because when you think about it , the Aquaponic concept is a big departure from the thrust of their normal show segments.

Steve it's a bit over 200Meg, so I will try xvid first as others were interested as well.

xvid usually give 350meg per 40 minutes video at good quality.

work it backwards and you'll get a very close approximation of how big it will be. from memory the segment was under 10 minutes so it should be under 100 meg (still too big for email) and there is probably copyright issues here, so be careful

if we privately email it and not put it in one place (for example this ite) to be downloaded we might be able to scoot around the copyright issue! :D

If you have it down to a reasonable size I would suggest putting on megaupload.com (no size limit) or putfile.com (25mb limit) which cost nothing, then post the link. Even Youtube.com, although I think they recode it as a flash so it more difficult to download and keep.

Thanks Guys

I got it down to 34 Meg, but still have a few issues.

Was also thinking of breaking it down into smaller chunks for emailing.

Will play with it again tonight.

Joel, have you thought of approaching the ABC about getting a licensed copy to put on the site? You would think you would be able to seeing as to how it’s YOUR story.
