Since the latest forum change over, I don't seem to be getting any notices from the topics I've subscribed to. I went looking to see if I could figure out why (I know the aquaponic source Ning network regularly seems to change my e-mail settings when I'm not looking and I have to go in and put them back every so often) but I don't see anything saying not to e-mail me when people post in discussions I'm following here.

I still seem to be subscribed to the topics but I haven't gotten any e-mails from BYAP for quite some time and some of those topics have had new posts.? :(
I miss getting tipped of about new activity here.

Any Ideas?

I still get emails telling me of new posts, although I'd never know if I missed some if they were other than the few familiar ones like my own system thread etc.

I had multiple subscriptions TC so I know what you are saying as only my own thread one has stuck. Ive personnaly gone back through and re-suscribed.

Not ideal I know but I needed to get back on track for my own moderational (is that a word)? reasons.

The forum and new server is still not fully sorted but be patient for the moment sorry.

I still have subscriptions but I'm not getting the e-mail telling me there has been any posting. Like this thread, I'm subscribed but I didn't get an e-mail.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

BW, once upon a time I think I read everything but I've fallen way behind this past year and now that I'm not getting notices I'm afraid I'm not managing to read much of anything here.

Try wiping the subscriptions and re applying, this may reset them. Cheers

If the subscriptions are still physically in the database then if you click "Board index" and then "Mark forums read" on the top right of the forum list that *should* reset your thread views so you start getting emails for any new posts.

Assuming there are no other server issues affecting it of course.

To find them go to your User Control Panel and click on the manage subscription link. I have noticed the same, and have quiet a lot of subscriptions to deal with too.

It would be nice if I could receive a single email each day (either morning or afternoon) advising me of all the updates which have occured rather than a single email per update. EB do you know if this is possible?

Arbe, At least here, you only get one e-mail per thread that gets responded to no matter how many times it gets posts after that. Over on the ning site, you get an e-mail each time some one responds to a thread you are following which is quite tedious since you of course read all the new posts the first time you go there but then you still have like a dozen other e-mails sending you back to that same thread!!

Ok Ill go try marking everything as read since the unsubscribe and re subscribe didn't seem to work.

Looking into this at the moment, though it's a bit confusing when some people say it works and others not.... :geek:

Hopefully you can get the issue sorted. Since marking everything as read didn't seem to make a difference as far as I can tell.

but I have to sign off for the night so good luck and catch ya all later.
