Hello maybe this question isnt about aquaponics but please everyone who thing they help me give me a suggestion.so my land is literally on beach of a river so i thinked about a making a pond 14 x5 m and from 50 cm to 2,5 meter deep which will get water from that river and escort it on other side .what you think about stocking it with common carp abd red finn perch

Ive seen Dams (large stock water sites in Australia) a stinking mess from thousands of dead tiny Redfin perch just too many for the size of the dam , so they will breed .

If you can find a way to STOP carp breeding you will make millions in Australia

Carp would breed in a wet bag
