Hello maybe this question isnt about aquaponics but please everyone who thing they help me give me a suggestion.so my land is literally on beach of a river so i thinked about a making a pond 14 x5 m and from 50 cm to 2,5 meter deep which will get water from that river and escort it on other side .what you think about stocking it with common carp abd red finn perch |

Generally not a great idea polluting the river with your aquaculture waste. Also high risk of carpet and redgin escaping into the river. |

Carp redfin and trout all grow naturally in that river? It's about the wastes you're producing, you can't have aquaculture waste flowing straight out into a river. Well, you can, but it's not right to do it, and illegal in many places. |

I wont keep red fin because of temperature and i said that fish live in that water naturaly and i wont overstock that pond and i will plant there plants from that river .if you dont believe search it on internet.river is called zeta.and can please someone tell me if rainbow trout will breed or not |

Trout will breed given favorable conditions. They usually need a muddy or sandy bottom and clean, oxygenated, flowing water. But the eggs and fry will get eaten or lost to the discharge unless they have (or are removed to) a protective environment. I would recommend a closed system that gets filled / replenished from the river. Then filter the waste and use it on land for fertilizer or dispose of it properly. At the very least filter the water to remove solids before returning it to the river. Whatever you do, be sure to follow your local laws and regulations. Most here will encourage you to be conscious of the environment and the law. We need to keep a favorable image for all concerned, so we don't see outright bans or prohibitive regulations for aquaculture or aquaponics in the future. Not to mention it's smart for everyone to take care of our planet! |

I planned to plant him with alot of plants so fry can hide and to take nitrate and nitrite and to place a large group of sponges on input and output of pond in river. And can i feed trout a leftovers of cleaned trout ,quail ,chicken and earthworms as a supplementary diet |

Investigate flow through hatcheries in your area they'll have it down pat. We have some down here and as mentioned previously there are many issues with them. |

Why to do that when i know that trout species is native to that river so fish are adapted to that water |

Ony difference petween my lake and river water iis that fish will breed there and sometimes i will feed them nothing else |
