Hi All, I just joined up the site and saying hi. I live in Salt Ash near Newcastle NSW on a couple of acres. I am looking at starting small...probably a IBC setup to start of with. If anybody has information on stockist of Aquaponic gear and Fish it around my area it would be greatly appreciated. Any beginners tips will be taken onboard with graet speed. If anybody has a setup around my area and does not mind a snoop drop me a line and we can catch up over a beer (my shout). Cheers all.....exciting times Baz |

Hey Baz Welcome to the forum. The Ibc of aquaponics which you can download on this page got me started, it's a very good overview. Good luck with finding all the parts and building your system. Cheers |

Found a fella on gumtree selling them at Blackhill for $50 each...a bit knocked around. Heaps on Gumtree for $100. I used clay rocks from a Hydroponic shop in Wallsend. I shoped around online but the delivery makes it to dear. A bit of a pricey way to do it but they are light and real easy to dig in...planting etc. I am away working for 1 more week....drop me your phone number and I will give you a bell when I get home and you can come for a look. Also...send me your email and I can send you some pics of mine if you like. Cheers Baz |

Being in our 20's all hydro shops assistants seem to think my brothers and I are up to something suspicious for going in there and not buying a complete indoor setup for growing weed. |

All natural hydro stregnth weed... Probably a good market for it. The system seems to be going ok just wanting to get nitrification going. How about yours? |
