ah, the C64....brings back memories! That was one of the first computers I learned how to program...along with the TRS-80 model II and III. Those were the good ole days! |

Do you have to worry about efficiency if you are running an air pump anyway for aeration - If you can use this air for lifting while achieving good aeration then the difference in efficencies between the air lift and waterpump don't count for much. trying to design a geyser pump that can actually lift much above the depth of the supply is a harder task. |

 ... I'm sorry... I just couldn't resist it... JohnH ... the question of efficiencies of various pumps and pumping methodologies... has been debated long and hard within various threads on the forum... Particularly air-lift and geysers pumps...IMO.. they have their place... go for it... |
