Seems the aquaponics4u scum suckers have a new way of approach... load known aquaponics sites into their metadata tags... and create a "page"... with a heading that reflects the real site... so that google will reference it....

http://aquaponicsfaq dot net/fresh-by-nature-aquaponics/

If I had a contact... I'd take steps to contact their ISP, and local legal authorities... to take it down....

Might well be time to organise a DOS on these scum bags... and put them out of business... for good...

How is a DoS going to put them out of service for good?
You might shut down the site for an hour if you are lucky. And they have heaps of websites that are most probably all on different servers.
Unless you have access to a botnet, or have enough hacking knowledge to create one thru Trojans to install the LOIC software on multiple PCs, then you might get it down for a day.
I hope you are good at masking your IP. I think the prison term is up to 7 years now.
So you risk 7 years in prison to shut down a site for a day.
And all they have to do is register a new domain and post the same crap online again.

it would appear that CloudFare is their ISP, based on the West coast of the US.

I don't know of that helps...

Their website is also probably hosted on a general web server with hundreds, possibly thousands of other sites which you will also affect.

But, this does remind me of an attack which someone told me about many years ago.

To combat a competitor a company modified their website to include a number of frames (say 21). 20 of the frames where 1 pixel by 1 pixel which loaded the competitor's website, while the remaining frame loaded the site which was requested.

The 20 frames of 1 x 1 pixel weren't seen by the person who visited the site, but the competitors website was transferred 20 times to the person who visited that companies website which meant a large amount of data was downloaded and cost the competitor additional $ as they used more than their quota.

Hi guys, I'm a noob at aquaponics ... just set up my first system ... first seedlings are only just appearing ... I got interested from a YouTube video and didn't much think that I would be actually going ahead with it a month later ... I found it really hard working out drainage from grow bed and overflow of fish tanks (which are 84 litre capacity) ... at one point I had bought quite a lot of pvc pipes for an idea that didn't work out ... so now I logged in immediately that pic at top was staring at me !!!! I've read your posts so I see that it's a serious topic but I hope you will appreciate how funny it looks from my point of view !!! Looks like someone went further with a stupider idea involving a much bigger stack of pipes !!! lol lol lol lol lol lol !!!! there are pipes going through the pots !!! lol lol lol lol !!! how do they tend to the fish !!!! they probably built a secret way in !!!! lol lol lol lol

Another one selling an ebook using images that aren't theirs and I'm pretty sure they never got permission.

And just another one to add about Aquaponics 4 you. I want to keep repeating aquaponics4you in every way so that hopefully people end up here if they ever google AP4U..

Is aquaponics4you a scam or rip off, yes...... Don't ever buy it...

Hows this for marketing methods.. People will think that I endorse the product and also made some "beat making software"?

While we're at it... 15 years of research and testing and they have come up with a poorly designed IBC system.. Plus is that Wilson Lennards logo they have pinched at the start?

OMFG!!!... I had to pick my jaw up off the computer desk 3 or 4 times through the video.

So in 15 years of research they haven't yet figured out that the water splashing down from the vertical grow towers (all empty I might add) like that is going to cause fungal issues with the plants and massively increase water loss through evaporation... not to mention risk running the system dry if a component breaks etc.

...and the periscope, shiny mirror spinny electrical generator thing...

...and the plant growth... awesome! :thumbright:

...and what exactly is a "Science Consultant"?

...and I wonder what AquaTech here in Perth think of them using that name?... it's my understanding they have that name trademarked.

Their work with ex-cons is commendable... every other aspect of the project is laughable!

P.S. Start a thread specifically for AP4U Joel, and title it something like: AP4U e-book is a Complete Scam , Don't waste your Money... the Googly spiders and others will like that... and the more working links the better... just make sure that every post in the thread informs potential readers of how much of a scam it is, so when they arrive here they can't mistakenly think it's an endorsement.
