I am new to AP and want to start with a small indoor system (50 gallon aquarium.) everything I am reading says don't do too many fish. but the companies seem to sell in 25 fish increments. I only want... um...maybe 6 blue tilapia? (I am reading 1 fish per 10 gallons and allowing for one not making it...?) Where do people get smaller quantities of fish at a reasonable price? |

I recommend cycling with minnows and then adding your fish later, i also recommend you contact your state fish and game department to make sure it is legal.. based on the site it loos like all non native fish such as tilapia require a permit to posses. brian |
