I'm just starting up a system with rainbow trout, planning to purchase in the next month after cycling has gone on a bit. I'm in Boulder, CO and the local fish farm has a $20 minimum. I only need 6 fish, but the price is still $20. I'm not sure what the price would normally be, but the guy inferred much lower than $20 for six. Right now he has 3" rainbow trout, so if anyone else in the area wants in on rainbow trout, we could combine orders and get a better deal.

I believe Sylvia Bernstein (http://aquaponicscommunity.com/profile/SylviaBernstein) had trout in her systems. She could probably tell you a good supplier.

Thanks, I'm touring her facilities next weekend. Might end up with yellow perch anyways for the summer at least.
