I know it has been a bit of a wait, but I am sure it will be worth it :)

The silvers are arriving approximately on the 7th of February, give or take a few days. There is a sample heading to the DPI lab for testing and health certification on the 30th of Jan, we should see them within a week of that day. This guarantees healthy fish :)

Currently they are around 40mm plus a bit, so we expect they will be somewhere between 40mm and 50mm when they arrive.

We are listening to what people have to say about the way hatcheries and fish farms treat their customers with small fish etc, and to that end, if you want any, and want them only greater than 50mm, then you can put some on hold and we will get them through to that size for you. In addition, if you want some, please PM me your order, as we will be putting the fish in ponds, and any that will be getting on sold will be held for easy harvest in tanks or floating cages in their appropriate quantities.

As freight and handling charges are yet to be finalised, they are yet to be priced, but they will be less than a dollar each on arrival, Edit: fish are priced at: 1 - 20 $1.90 each, 21 - 50 $1.50 each, 51 - 100 1.30 each, quantities greater than 100, $1.10 each.

Local deliveries or pickups can be arranged.

Cheers

Stu and Daniel

I certainly can't see why not Outback. I think WA need a health certificate for silvers brought in, I suppose if you wanted some we could on ship them with a copy of the certificate...

The plan is to breed our own in the summer of 2009. The current batch is really our capacity, without spending loads of dough on infrastructure and a planned AP system of 1000m2. So this batch is our growout for the next 18 months, we are just happy to offload any now to anyone who wants them, and also, if anyone wants any advanced fingerlings at any time over the next 18 months, let us know, we will probably be able to oblige. Also we will be hoping to breed murray cod in the spring of this year. We are very excited about that and will be starting work on the hatchery side of things very soon. :)

How about Stu Dan TV?
then you could market it to secondary and tertiary institutions :-)
Hell why not primary as well?

I know - my jokes aren't funny but hey you have to live with em.

Sounds good Stu,
I will be ready for my 100 in late March as soon as I get back from holidays.
My system is now cycling well with the goldies and vegies growing like mad and stable test results. 8)
