Saw this mob at Floriade in Canberra ( www.thetablegarden.com.au ).
Seemed alright on the price, ~$600 for the 1800x700 bed (no wheels on it though).
They didn't really comprehend aquaponics when I was talking to them, but they assured me it was strong enough to fill with gravel.
Anyway, just an idea for Canberra APers.

Couldn't tell from the picture... what were they made from Yarra... might not handle "acidic" AP water over time..... :dontknow:

$600, seems a bit pricey to me.... could just about get two of Joels growbeds for that price.

Gal steel, show offer/discount was choice of powder coating (3 colours).
Basically a modular frame is made up and depending on the length, a number of tray inserts are put in, and a heavy duty pond liner is laid over that.
For what they're doing (using soil) thay also have this plastic filter set-up where it looks like 1" cubes all stuck together at different angles to stop the soil running out the drain hole.

Like I said above, though, don't expect them understand what we'd try to do with it if you contact them.
