Hi All, First post. Have been thinking of setting up a system for over a decade but now ready to act! This would be a 3 IBC system, with 1 FT, 1 Sump, 3 GBs and some constant flow pots. I've looked on Gumtree, however are there some recommendations (on this site or elsewhere?) where the following are usually sourced in my parts: - IBC - expanded clay - fish (trout?/Silver Perch) - pump Thank you. |

There is a 2,000L round fibreglass fish tank on gumtree. Any ideas on where to start on plumbing through fibreglass, I was going to use uniseals on the IBC? Just finished reading through your thread - impressive system you have there. |

I use poly tank flanges from irrigation shops or Bunnings to go through round tank walls and filter drum walls (and flat GB bases). No need to use sealant, as the soft rubber washer seals perfectly well, my oldest AP tank flanges are still sealed after 6 years. |
