I used Bostik polyurethane Seal N flex to try and seal a sink trap to EPDM pond liner and the stuff doesn't stick at all. After 2 days drying the stuff lifts off very easily.
any other suggestions?

note : has to be safe for potable water

Marine seal n flex should be OK, contact like glue sticks well but wont form a seal
Id say theres something on the rubber
Anything you try to seal with must be held in place mechanically with sealant in between
EPDM will stretch way more than most sealant and this might be why SnF came off

tried again with Duraseal bitumen putty with a bit of coaxing with a heat gun.
seems to have done the trick but will take 10 days to dry
