Yep, they now come with a little sticker attached that says 'non potable water only'. This would B covering it's posterior.

I will let you know how they work out after this weekend when I start stage 2.

It will be run through an ap system and when any trouble [if any] starts I will be able to log it asap.

I am picking one up in a few minutes

Looking for a tank in Adelaide.

I am looking for a well priced fish tank. About 3000 litres.
Have been quoted $1600 + GST for tank from Newell Group in MURRAY BRIDGE.
The government is going to pick up most of the cost thanks to the stimulas package. Nice buggers they are. :D
I have a few of the 500 ltr tanks from B to compliment the bigger tank so will not go down the line of more of them or IBC.

Anyone heard of any better price for a tank. :cycle:

Hi Brian:

If you have Tractor Supply stores or AgWay those stores carry "stock tanks" from Rubbermaid and Tuff Stuff. Both are great for building a system. Another is MacCourt stuff from Lowe's, I've used their 20 gallon "Plant-tainers" for grow beds. The 20 gallon round ones are nice. (Or cut barrels in half like Outbackozzie's system) Lowe's has 15 gallon mortar tubs in the cement area from MacCourt that are shallow but nice and cheap to get something going.

I've used these items for my systems, with a Sears sump pump and small Pondmaster pumps from Lowe's for pumping duty:

Or the round cheap 18 gallon laundry tubs and/or 50 gallon rectangular storage tubs from Walmart work. I've also used Sterilite clear plastic 12 gallon storage tubs for grow beds too!

Awesome! Thanks I was searching online for water tanks (resulted in farm size tanks), plastic bins, and things but couldn't find small enough ones. There is a Lowe's nearby so I will check it out. Still planning it out and hopefully I will have an idea soon on what I am going to do.

Google 'Rubbermaid for Less', they have all the Rubbermaid stock tanks, from 50 gallon to 300. I am considering a couple of those 50 gallon ones for fry by the breeder tanks.

TSC usually has them in stock. Depending on the size of the store.
