Balcony units don't take up much space and this one easily fitted at the side of the house and still receives plenty of sunlight. Great idea for growing herbs out of the way of the ground dwelling bugs. i really like the neat way the pump outlet comes up through the media on these systems... do you use a standard bulkhead fitting to seal the bottom of the gb?? |

Yep, straight up from the pump with kink free flexy pipe and a bulkead fitting, then more flexi pipe up to the PVC pipe on top.. |
