Craig has been planning the system for a while now after seeing it for the first time 2 1/2 years ago. He grows his own chickens as well as raised garden beds for growing veges.

Carl had the help of a work experience student today who has joined us to learn about aquaponics, just during this week. All help greatly appreciated thanks Jake!

Going to be hard to harvest from the inside centers of the growbeds without going wading, isn't it?

Those BYAP setups are so clean and cool looking...

The beds are 1 mtr wide... and you can reach across to the other side reasonably easily...

I think he would have extended the drain in to the water if he was aiming to get a swirl effect Freoboy. Looks like here it will splash on the water surface and provide the lovely trickling sound of a water feature, oh, how relaxing. :) So many choices.
