Tony always wanted to keep fish, he also was very keen on home gardening, when he heard about aquaponics he immediately wanted one. He never thought that keeping fish and growing vegetables could be so simple, nor did he think they could ever be integrated.

Tony asked for our biggest fish tank, which is our 5000 litre fish tank. Capable of holding up to 250 fish, when used in a media based system. He wanted only a medium sized vegetable garden and so he choose four growbeds, which then limited him to 100 fish.

The fish tank was placed in an old shed so that he could control the water temperature and grow seasonal fish year round, such as Barramundi.

Below are some pictures taken on the day of installation.
