The first BYAP-NSW installation by Fresh By Nature was completed yesterday.... A four bed "Family" system...

The client had a purpose built hot-house constructed to house the system ...

The hot-house gets good light all day... with the fish tank shaded from direct light and heat from about 15:00 in the afternoon...

Plenty of light on the growbeds... even late aafternoon....

The finished system.... note the door added to the far end... partly for access, partly for through ventilation... it was hot in there.....

When I left, Helmut said he was going to sit there for a while... enjoy his beer and listen to the water....

Yeah I'd have to agree... if only there'd been a shot of his toes somewhere I'd say we could certify him immediately ;-)

Helmut dropped in today to pick up some fish feed.... and to say Merry Xmas..

He's extremely happy with the system, saying that it has "exceeded his expectations" and that "they'd already picked their first salad"... and their friends who shared the meal commented on the taste and freshness of the lettuce...

His biggest smirk though was reserved for his wife... a keen gardener, who apparantly just rolled her eyes at the idea of an aquaponic system... and thought he was mad...

Reckons "her jaw still hasn't closed since she's seen how fast things grow and how good they taste"

Definitely a satisfied customer....
