Yet another college can see the benefit of aquaponics as part of their health and educational studies. The system is situated adjacent to the home economics class and will become part of the outdoor cafe area. I like the sound of that, I only wish they had that sort of thing when I was at school, my how things have changed over the years.

The system will get sun around midday and should still manage about 6 hours a day which should be okay for most plants.

A screen of lattice is planned to be installed along the brick wall as well as an enclosure to protect the garden area.

The system electrics are explained by Carl and an electrician will be installing the necessary connections for the system. The courtyard system was made operational and then turned off awaiting a visit from the electrician.

Final instructions are explained while the system fills, sometimes it is the slowest part of the installation. The boys are getting more efficient as they get more experience under their belt.
The teacher and gardener must be keen as they are meant to be on school holidays, but were so keen to get the system installed as soon as possible. :)

Just received a bit of feedback on the installation that was done last week.
"Thank you for the wonderful courtyard system - the boys did a great job and I'm very keen to get it started with the kids. It's all very exciting! Thanks again for everything and will no doubt speak to you again in the future."
