Tend to agree Stuart... just tossed it out there to see if there was a quick, easy fix...

Just add a few little bits and elbows and such that you create kinda one side of a no-holes-overflow down inside the sump tank below the height of the end grow bed.

Now that I can do TCL.... just couldn't quite grasp how to implement the siphon concept...

As I say... it's not a major problem... at worst, the end growbed just becomes a "semi" continuously flooded bed... and can be planted accordingly... (as you suggested, and as I had already proposed to the client)

Easy rupt just cut 2 extensions at 150mm and push them in the 2 elbows of the beds that dont drain saying that cut 4 and put them in all cos thats a sump so its empty most of the time but as it nears the bottom and slows down it may break the siphon

Hi Rupe I agree it won't be a problem
I have a full IBC GB with an outlet 300mm from the bottom. Initially I was a little bit worried about this setup, but have periodically released water from the bottom valve and the water is always clean and crystal clear so don't see that there would be any problems.

The section "Upload Attachments" .......Between "Post a reply" and "Topic review" is missing. However, if I go to another Topic it works OK. :upset:

That's because we don't want people uploading external stuff into dedicated "installation" threads...

Oh, and that one-meter-plus drop along the length of the greenhouse - a thing of beauty.
I am on the edge of my seat to see how this gravity resource will be utilized...

Hope I didn't give you a bum steer when I said "external grow beds".... they will be soil based grow beds... not AP...
