You're a slave to the all-powerful timer industry!

(I totally understand the rationale)

Autosiphon? At the risk of raising a few heckles, auto siphons are not as reliable and bullet proof as a timer/standpipe, in a commercial product like this I'm after maximum reliability and simplicity for clients that possibly don't have much know how..

May be you could have them as an optional extra - or standard on the BYAP deluxe model

You didn't really think I would pass on that :evil5:

Looks real neat and simple EB - reckon the customer is gonna love it for years to come

Hey, talk about flexability... You could easily put another growbed on that system... I wonder... Is there a record for the "amount" of veggies that can be grown in 1 growbed? When we all have one, well have to have that comp...

I totally understand. I keep forgetting that you sell these systems.

As for the flow rate, coming from an Aquaculture point of view, I'm used to seeing a minimum of fish tank volume flowing once per hour.

It is a great looking compact system. I agree that it would be nice if EVERY small home had one of these. Just think of the health benefits of having fresh veggies on hand.

yeah, timer with standpipe system.

The growbed took surprisingly little to fill it, the level you see in that tank would be with an almost full growbed, but it's extremely full in the fish tank when the growbed has drained.

With the ongoing water restrictions, veg prices are going to go through the roof. Your simple system will make is easier for people to grow their own. One thing, would a minigreenhouse type cover, maybe built as a light frame on the top of the GB, be an advantage?
