I understand that this not aquaponics but I could use some help or just tell me where to go to. I would like to put compost out through a center pivot system for cattle. Or just a good forum like this one. Everywhere I go to find info. they just wont to sell me something and I don't know what I need. Thinks Jerrry

Are you wanting to water your pasture with compost tea? You make it sound like you want to give youe cattle compost tea to drink.

And better description of what you are trying to do would be helpfull.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. What I need to know is does it work. I would water cattle with it i I though they would grow biger and faster. A center pivot system such as I have covers about 50 acres that is covering eight padocks over about 16 days. I am also sorry I am talking oversome peoples heads. Thinks Jerry

This does not make sense to me, I would water pasture and then the cows would eat the pasture. :dontknow: Still not sure that I understand what you want to do.

Same....I no understand :D

How about explaining what you want to actually achieve j&j.....is it growing big cattle for sale (ie meat market) if thats the case use revlor (it's a cattle steriod)
If your wanting to water pasture paddocks with compost tea to make the grass grow better and therefore providing the cattle with better nutrients ,I can't see why it won't work but you would need alot of the tea to cover 50 acres, would it not be easier to purchase a couple of tonne of urea and spread the paddocks coming into the winter/rainy season ?

Or build a hydro "fodder" shed... you could utilise the worm/compost tea that way...
