I'm going to build my grid tie system and add at least 50 watts to it per month until years end. Along with continually trying to find better ways to conserve! Although I don't expect to be online with it until April, I will at least be purchasing or making panels. |

Great idea BRB! Will be interesting to see if we manage to do it..... I will get better at re-cycling. One thing....Going to use all waste paper and cardboard boxes into the earthworms instead of just adding to the burn heap. Put boxes through my mulching machine first. Cut lots more bush grass in April instead of fighting bush fires later .... more worm feed. Building a chicken house for Boschveld hens ....so no more buying in eggs. We really get through eggs! Also some bantams (Silkies) to allow in the garden to eat the bugs. First mini-AP set up for fingerlings.... and practice! Set up an orchard downhill on contours... Permiculture style..... will surround with electric fencing asap.... but get it dug and planted this year. Establish a Moringa patch here too. Start on my AP dream.... Better stop there..........(sigh)..... Better add.... find me a rich man to pay for more help!!!! |

set up my 2000L AP system !! And fix up the paper recycling system at home and the worm composting organisation.. last year we were just getting started, learning the ropes. Now we know so its just a matter of organising our bins !! I need to shred paper so I can use it in wormfarm for neutralising its pH and to make it a little less organic. I'm thinking of making papier mache using cardboard box pieces to make containers and then lining them with pondtite to make them into custom-made growbeds! Might consider using something other than paper, but for now it's paper and cardboard. |
