work is in turmoil and i imagine there are a lot of people a lot worse off

i always said Oil, foreign or not is the weakness.

i heard they were bringing the collie power station back online in less than 6 weeks to help out.

read on the front page of your newspaper (yesterday i think) that beer was in limbo :shock: as BOC couldn't produce CO2 becasue of the gas crisis, also snap frozen goods were in trouble as the liquid CO2 was also hit.

dont tell me they use CH4 as the feed stock for CO2 production?

Most of the bigger mines are scrambling to Diesel atm and the nickel smelter has forwarded a major 3-4 month shut-down.
Norilisk Nickel (the old Cawse plant) is running at around 30% capacity and is having a major maintenance shut-down as well.
In the next week Kalgoorlie is expecting another 4-500 people :shock:

i only knew about it 'casue i was in WA, some gas works went up. crippled the states supply.

VB your living under a rock, gas explosion up north of WA has cut 30% of WA's power, they have also closed a Coal powered station down for Maintaince at the same time :x
