Yeah I have that but better of Roz sends then my slow dial up. I am looking at building a teeny small version of it to play with. So i can heat it with a hair dryer just to show the kids it can be done |

you only need to get it to 121C for it to release 5/8th of the ammonia. I'd also pull a vacuum inside the pipework before the initial charging with ammonia. you don't want ANY moisture in there, and air will just raise the operating pressure. Do you think my neighbours wuld be upset if there was a cloud of ammonia drifting over the fence? i probably shouldn't even joke about that! can anyone tell that i went to a cold store today! LOL! |

sort of ironic, notice how there are a proportionately small number of leaks with ammonia plants? Maybe the toxcicity is a bonus as work is ALWAYS done properly! You don't find people filling a system unless their DAMNED sure it aint gonna leak |

Good thing with NH3 is you can smell it at 4-8 parts per million so leaks are easily found. Now fixing them may be another matter ie workers attitude, cash available, etc. I think its better then sliced bread! Its safer then anything else out there I believe. Untill a big cloud heads your way of course. |
