People would get a better idea of what you are doing if you resize the pics to 800 X600.
That is the same principal as my wicking tubs and yes it works a treat

Don't use photobucket... is what people are suggesting.... resize you photos to 800x600... and attach/post to the thread...

sun screen in the bottom , gravel base 200mm , dirt layer 300mm just like the earthan beds I hope it works

today I planted a tomato plant, when I was digging the earth had a nice moisture :)

Ive been checking for sediment or nasties and water is coming out clean of the drain pipe

Ill keep all posted if I have any issues with this system

ohh I forgot I put as a sediment with the gravel base river dirt

10 days after

I cut the 3 tomatos of the first pic

the plant is growing

got a dark green on the leaves

has 4 baby tomatoes

I think this project is working great
