We have a pond of unknown depth but substantial size, based on my esaments grabbed from google maps, its a lil over a acre at 125 ft by 450 ft. I would need a REALLY good reason to trod down there and clear the over grown bastard out. So my question is this. Could i feasibly and would it be realistic to stock the pond with Chanel cats and Tilapia ( Its Florida so its plenty warm all year) and then use a raft system to raise vegetables in long channels that i could float down and harvest/tend.

TL;DR

Can i stock a pond with fish and grow vegis in floating rafts on said pond.
