Awesome stuff Helomech! I am impressed. I guess that you are pretty self sufficient there, with all that lot. Do you have pig?

Thanks Faye, no tame pigs. We do have lots of wild pigs that we trap and shoot regularly. Also have lots of deer. We are raising chickens, ducks, geese, and turkey for eggs and food. I don't think we have bought meat in years.

You wil probably live to be 100 years old then, I'm guessing. :) Sounds like the good life to me.

Thanks guys, wish I didn't have to work away from home every other week. But it does give me a week off also. We are constantly expanding our animals. We are adding at least 10 more rabbit cages, and more broody hen cages. The small cages work great for the hens that are sitting on eggs. Keeps the other chickens away, and makes it harder for them to abandon the eggs.

I was relly hoping to see a couple of chickens cruising around in a 2-door chicken-sized car (coupe). Hehe. Just picking a little bit. That's a nice big setup you have there. Makes me want to expand, and I just got done building our henhouse.
Looking good, Helomech.

Thanks, it is hard not to expand. Hopefully my wife does not add any more species. I think chickens, ducks, geese and turkey are enough.

Yours looks great. One thing I really like about mine is that all the windows close up, just by letting them down. I can open it completely or close it completely, or anywhere in between.

Hi helomech,

The tolerate each other, no I don't have a seperate coup for them. But the ducks and geese during the day walk down to my pond (which is about 150 yards from the chicken coupe) and spend the whole day there. They come back in the evening and go in the coup.

Are your chickens eating your rabbit poop?

I cant figure out why mine are... Have you used rabbit poop in the grow beds with the worms to help get the good nutrients / bacteria going in the AP grow beds.
