Have dosed my 1 meg dam with polymer to plug a severe leak which previously drained it in 3 to 4 weeks  The additive is the same stuff they use to absorb the nasties in disposable nappies. This dam was built 5 years ago at great cost and first time it filled it lasted 10 days. The water comes from a gully running out of state forest and is crystal clear after a weeks settling after rain. The company that produces this product also sells a number of products that increase water holding properties on agricultural land . also used for erosion control and dust sealing. :flower:
