Havent heard of anyone growing watermeal and to be honest, not really sure what it is!
Im guessing that if duckweed is the second smallest plant(?)... then watermeal is THE smallest? Is that right?
Could you post a pic for us???

Anybody raise & feed watermeal to your fish? I feed to my fingerling because they are too small for duckweed and pallet. Can anybody share your experience ? How to grow watermeal? what are the possible issue? ... I'm trying to reduce pallet cost in my AP system? I'm growing tilapia . |

I just start grow watermeal last week. Last night heavy rain took away my watermeal. I grow them outdoor in a few container without greenhouse protection. So I have to start from zero again, and will post the picture. I notice that fish like it very much. My fingerling start eating watermeal then duckweed(Lemna) then pallet then duckweed(spirodella). I don't know why, may be size does the matter. Grow watermeal in the duckweed thank is a good choice |
