If they're not doing any hard, I wouldn't worry about them.

Even if they are doing some harm, I've not found a good way to get rid of them even in a soil garden where I could use toxic stuff!!!!! Stink Bugs, Leaf Footed Bugs and Squash Bugs are all sort of similar this way in that they are tough suckers and since they are suckers they tend not to get a good dose of much of anything.

In soil garden, Neem oil can upset their nymphs from maturing properly and therefore maybe have an effect on the next generation of them.

I've tried the knock them off into a bucket of water, the adults fly so that doesn't work so well and I don't usually manage to catch enough of the nymphs.

Grabbing the adults with the fingers and chucking them into the fish tank, if you can catch them (usually easiest while they are mating and the two stuck together at the buts are not as quick to take off) but then your fingers stink!!!!

At one point I actually resorted to using a battery powered dust buster to try and suck them up. I think I sucked up more leaves than I did bugs!

Finally I started ignoring them as I have with most other pests.

hah i get that problem too sometimes

hmm we get quite a few in the dirt garden (they seem to love jasmine) and found the same thing, cant kill the frikin things.

so i think ill just leave em be, perhaps some other bug will comealong and either eat them or outcompete them :)

Yeah, can happen. I was getting stressed a few weeks back by the number of aphids that were on my plants. I was considering getting some ladybugs by mail order (there's a link somehwere in the forum). However, I went to Adleaide for a week, and when I came back, the existing population of ladybirds had exploded due to the number of aphids. Now I can't even find an aphid !

I have them all through my gardens...they don't appear to do any damage so I leave them be :)
