Hi Bio-farmer,

For what it's worth, be a bit careful about gathering duckweed from a watercourse if you don't know what it's origins are.

Duckweed is an excellent means by which to take heavy metals out of polluted water but that may not be the best thing to feed to your fish.

My advice would be to take some duckweed and grow it out yourself - that way you retain complete control over what's going into your fish.

Bayswater is my area - so close to Midland.
I was planning on just getting some and growing it out in a couple of barrels.

J7a what is azolla?

I get my fish today - yippee.

There is a thread here somewhere that gives all the details. Perhaps the search button would help you locate the thread.
