How do people prepare their plants to plant in their AP that have been raised in soil?

Either just shake off the majority of the dirt from the root ball.... and/or dip them into some water... then plant them...

Thought about soaking them in some seasol for a few hours. Any thoughts?

I do a mixture of both, I dunk the roots in a dilute seasol solution to remove the dirt and plant straight away.
