It's dying.... too much light/heat... There is a "giant" duckweed native to the NT... which would probably be better suited than the "minor" variety.... but might need shading anyway... |

I was thinking that may be the case I'll put some shade over the DW grow tank and keep the fingers crossed Thanks Rup your a great source of info |

Wondering if anyone knew where to source the "Giant" Duckweed I suspect its from the top end but wonder if a nursery may have it? Is it as nutritious as the small variety? |

Yup, definately too hot. My weed lives under a tin roof now, nice and dark. |

Thanks again for all the info I have covered the small pot and it seems the DW is looking healthier. When I build my 2nd lot of grow beds I will design a space underneath that is cool and shaded for the DW How's your water temp going OBO? Last week we had a 43 degree day and my FT pond didn't get over 27 I was very pleased Looking forward to getting my 1st lot of 200 SP just after Christmas |
