It's dying.... too much light/heat...

There is a "giant" duckweed native to the NT... which would probably be better suited than the "minor" variety.... but might need shading anyway...

I was thinking that may be the case I'll put some shade over the DW grow tank and keep the fingers crossed
Thanks Rup

Wondering if anyone knew where to source the "Giant" Duckweed
I suspect its from the top end but wonder if a nursery may have it?
Is it as nutritious as the small variety?

I got a fair amount through an eBay deal last year... I'll see if I can find the seller... was up that way...

Yup, definately too hot. My weed lives under a tin roof now, nice and dark.

Thanks again for all the info
I have covered the small pot and it seems the DW is looking healthier. When I build my 2nd lot of grow beds I will design a space underneath that is cool and shaded for the DW
How's your water temp going OBO?
Last week we had a 43 degree day and my FT pond didn't get over 27
I was very pleased
Looking forward to getting my 1st lot of 200 SP just after Christmas
