Lighting: how long? How much intensity? Nutrients/minerals: any specific nutrients/minerals taro needs? Watering conditions When do they fruit? What pH is optimal? Temperature for growing? any other facts about growing taro in aquaponics THANKS |

Can't help too much, I have a pot of Taro sitting in my AP pond and it grows fine. Nothing too technical about it. cheers Derek |

So therfore it is unsuitable for long term AP use - because at some stage you will need to add salt. |

If grown in a pot in the tank or sump - can always remove if salting. How many PPT whacked it around J? |

the first time I had to add salt it was prolly 5ppt? that was in August |

Everyone will have to at some stage. Maybe not this year, maybe not next year - but when your tree is at 4m high, something will go wrong, and you'll have to salt = dead tree. I am not going to be growing anything else in my systems now that is affected adversely by low levels of salt. |
