Our broadbeans have developed suckers...
2 x growth tips at the base of each plant, as they normally do.
Question is - since the plantings are so much closer in AP than
soil, what do you think if I nip out the tips or the odd few as
they will not have enough space or light to produce :?: :cyclopsani: :? -
Thinking is this will allow more energy to the main stem.

Any ideas????

I have found that the plants that I had planted too close / or too thick, were a lot more susceptable to caterpillars / aphids.

I now thin out all plants.
