I have a few hybrid cuc's that the stems are splitting on...................the only thing I can find trying to diagnose is a nematode problem???? What do ya'll think? Thanks, TX |

While researching visual aids of plant mineral deficiencies, for the International Aquaponics Task Team, to be used for the villagers, I found a fantastic website that shows photos of crop plants suffering from particular mineral deficiencies. In addition, it also shows how two conditions (where one is disease or insect damage, the other a mineral deficiency) can mimic each other. It also shows stem splitting as a result of boron deficiency. Somewhere else in this forum, someone was also asking about purpling on the leaves of some of their plants. I read a post on here somewhere the other day where it was mentioned that splitting occurs when the water temp is over a certain temp, sorry can't remember what the temp was |
