Yeah, I saw... something about magnetising water to alter the chemical structure http://todaytonightadelaide.com.au/story.php?id=603 I am naturally skeptical about this kind of thing because if it's true, we would know about it by now...and the fact that it sounds patently impossible Quote: Ingrid tells us, “it’s changing the alignment and structure of the water that allows it to be used more effectively, more efficiently and increase productivity of water.”

How does one use water more effcetively, efficiently and raise it's productivity... by magnetising it??? Would puttting it in a pyramid and walking anticlockwise around the outside wearing a foil hat acheive the same result? |

Yes, but the magnetism technology has the advantage that it is equally effective in northern hemisphere countries, without the need to rewrite the training manuals to account for walking clockwise instead |

Wouldn't you have to turn the pipes around the other way and use the other end to stop the water going down the plug hole the wrong way and couteracting the effect of the "magnetism" |

That sounds like a load of BS to me...!! How can you magnetize water? You can't change the shape of the molecule either. It consists of only 2 hygrogen and 1 oxygen. The hydrogen atoms are much smaller that Oxygen and cling to the oxygen so it looks like a pair of mickey mouse ears... No matter where that hydrogen attaches itself to the oxygen the molecule always has the same shape. It will align itself accordingly. Plus because water has an even number of electrons AND because it is not a ferro-magnetic substance it WILL NOT be attracted by a magnet. If anything it will be repelled by it... But on a scale that is VERY minuscule. This magnetic water rubbish is another snake oil scheme... a Placebo!!! |

I am sure Ingrid knows.. It is the public that is too stupid to fall for these things... Who believes anything on Today Tonight anyway... |

If you know of anyone that buys a water magnifying machine, let me know because i've got a patch of land on the moon they might be interested in buying.... |

that's a much better idea! Don't magnetise, just magnify the water...then there will be more to go around |

Jezz... sometimes the solution is just so clear we can't see it when we look at it.... |

Bit like when you open a box of nails half of them have the heads on the wrong end [silly there for the other side of the house ] |
