Arum lillies are indeed a noxious weed , drive around anywhere near margaret river and you'll see enough of em to make you sick of them for the rest of your life theres a plague of em down there and it looks like theres no turning it back |

We have been killing them off for years (about 20y) fortunately none live near us, but heaps of other places have a big problem with them. There is even a place locally known as valley af the lillies...down at Prev. I too don't like them. |

This year they put in some extra restrictions on translocating these lillies in WA. They are a noxious weed but very pretty. (Shame we don't export the sodding things to countries where it is not a problem. Maybe on a small business scale.) Money to be made from clearing up farm infestations? 24 hours to get them to flower markets in London for example, ... they would be off season and would command a good price. Or too hard and too expensive to export? |

Are those the white flower with yellow stamen? If so there was a spate of people manufacturing an hallucinogen from them (very nasty stuff some people did not recover) |
