Mint has a highly invasive root system. It will try and take over your whole system. I don't think it's possible to kill mint so you should be fine pruning off the roots. Careful not to let and root fragments go in the water as they will grow elsewhere... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

yep...and just a few can wipe out a good vege crop in a few days. One option is to use bird netting or something similar - that will help keep the butterfly/moths off. It slows them down a bit when they cannot land directly on the plants. slugs and snails will also be an issue. |
