Looking for a cure for powdery Mildew before this year's planting season. Started Cukes last year, and had hundreds of 0.25-.050" fruits and all of a sudden the plants died and now I have a white powder on the gravel. Can I destroy it with a weed burner that attached to a 20# picnic propane tank? Been told i can use baking soda, but don't want to throw off my levels. Thanx! Rick |

Welcome to the forum .Couple of other cures that sometimes help and that you should look at - 1. Spray with Milk 2. Spray with Potassium bicarbonate. |

Thanx for the quick response. I'll order some Potassium Bicarb this week and give it a try. I know that most of the things normally used are fatal to the fish. Thanx! |

+1 on potassium bicarb. I found a formula that mixes it with water, a small amount of cooking oil and dish soap. Works great! |
