I have a problem with Laksa. If I put it in the growbeds they grow like crazy and take over but if I put it in a floating pot in my fishtank they die... Have tried 3 times in a floating pot and they fail every time. I've put a twig back into the growbed and just have to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. Any ideas why they fail in the floating pot? |

Off the top of my head I'd say that in the growbeds there would be a lot of water movement past the roots supplying DO and keeping them from getting gunked up with fine particles/slime/whatever. In the floating pot there'd be very little. What do the roots look like when you pull the dying plants out? |
