| Post subject: | Is Seachem Prime Safe? |
Hi i dose seachem prime to get rid of chlorine and chloramines for my fish. I am in the process of installing an aquaponics system to my tank and i would like to grow vegetables in the grow bed but i am scared there will be residal chemicals from prime on the vegetables. Is prime safe for human use? |

Quote: If there will be any plants or fish in your system that are intended for human consumption, then we cannot recommend using any of our products in the system. Unfortunately, our products are not FDA-approved and therefore cannot be used in systems containing anything for human consumption  You don't need ANY of that junk.. Let NATURE do it's job..  .. |
