Hey guys. I am very new to the aquaponic scene. My system has been running for about 4 months now. I lost most of my fish in september due to a sudden cold front that hit us. So am currently running on a 2500l fish tank with 4 tilapia and 1 trout. Hope to get new tilapia in the morrow.
My beds are all continuos drainage beds and are layered with charcoal at the bottom and LECA on the top half.
I have had leaf miner on my tomato plants but that looks like it is cleared up.

My entire system is under 40% shade cloth so i dont think the sun is to blame.

Any ideas???

Thanx

Having only 5 fish I would think it's deficiency problems. Also having trout and tilapia together makes me wonder about the water temps you have there, they tend to like opposite ends of the temperature scale so one or the other are not going to be happy.

My water temp is around 20•C in currently. But our winter ambient temps drop below zero which is why i wanted to move over to trout. Red breasted tilapia are mote tolerant of cold water so i am looking to move over to them. In the coming months. But am not sure how manny are a good number to start with.
