I just planted wheatgrass in one of my grow beds. I watched a video about harvesting the wheatgrass and they say after the first time you cut it the wheatgrass grows back scraggly.

So what do you do with the seeds after they are done and in your grow media? Im just thinking if I keep adding more wheatgrass seeds eventually it will fill up completely with seeds! Or do they dissolve somehow?

I planted wheat in my system a couple of years ago, and ate a few leaves as wheat grass, but let the plants grow until they had heads and I harvested the grain. I made some tabouli with them and other ingredients from the AP. Some seeds fell into the media, and these shot and grew to new plants.
I think if you keep cutting a plant back until it dies, the roots and remains of the seed will eventually dissolve, but if you keep adding more, it will clog the GB. If you dont want that, just pull the remains of the plant and its roots out.
