Just planted these basil plants in my new system about 4 days ago, I added seasol before adding them It is a little bit cold here got 60 F. Not a lot of other plants and they receive enough sun. It may be they don't get enough oxygen not sure?

looks like they got too cold. As long as the temps stay up, they're recover fine. Pluck those leaves off and use them for pesto as the plant matures.

I know 60deg is cold for someone who lives in FL. But your from Missouri.

Basil absolutely hates temps 60 F and below so that's probably what's going on if that's where the temp is.

It could also be a burn from transferring into bright sunlight from a darker area and the locations of darkened areas kind of match this but more likely the cold.

yeah, when he said that it was getting plenty of sun, I kind of ruled out sun burn, and then when he mentioned some cooler weather. I've had my basil turn from one cold snap down in the upper 50's overnight. looks like a frost burn on most plants, except darker and shows up right away. Basil loves heat....but hates cold. I'm planting more basil...we love it...especially the Mrs.
