I've noticed some green spots on my rafts and leaves and I've searched everywhere for an explanation but can't figure out what it is... So any help would be nice thanks!

You'll have to get used to seeing that on your rafts, they get covered in it.. Could just be the sam eon the plants, is this indoor perhaps or in a place where there's not a lot of air flow past the plants? The lettuce also looks leggy, poor light for decent growth.

Hahahahaha! Yeah! 10$ fluro 80w 6500k lol. Are the plants safe two eat with that on it? I'll post some more pics of my set up in a few. It's a 20 gal tank with two rafts. It's been hot lately so my garage has been kinda humid these last couple weeks. I need to get a fan in there I was hoping the airflow would sturdy up my stocks a bit.

Bump

Does anyone know if it's safe to eat these plants? My lettuce should be ready soon and I want to pull some but if they are not safe I've been growing compost for 6 weeks.....

Most of your leaves look fine, any that look like they have too much algae on them you can throw away or give them a good wash.

My main concern is someone else told me it might be mold but if it's just algae then I'm not as worried. I know mold isn't great to eat lol
